Ali Shakir, M.D.
Dr. Shakir has been with the practice since 2012. He attended medical school at New York Medical College and completed his internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
He then completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Shakir is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty certifications in Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine. He also is certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
In addition, he completed a fellowship at the Buffalo Spine and Sports Institute. Dr. Shakir has taken part in multiple presentations and his research has been published in medical journals. He is particularly interested in providing comprehensive non-surgical sports medicine and spine care as well as performing a wide range of spine pain procedures under fluoroscopic guidance and ultrasound guidance.
